Where to Look First
Different offices hold different records. A jail release, a court disposition, an ADOC discharge, and post-release supervision are not the same file.
- For a released Wilcox County jail inmate or release record, use the home page search path and then contact booking, detention, or the sheriff's business office.

Use ADOC Form 023-A. The research file lists a non-refundable $20 processing fee and acknowledgment within 10 business days for a properly submitted request.
Supervision and Notifications
ABPP is the local contact for Wilcox County parole and probation supervision. Alabama VNS is the state notification system for covered post-conviction ADOC matters, not a substitute for the sheriff when a case has not yet gone to trial.
